| The technologists at Cape Radiology Group are registered
by the American Registry
of Radiologic Technologists and specifically trained and exclusively
dedicated to diagnostic radiology imaging.
All physicians at Cape Radiology Group are radiologists
who are board certified by the American
Board of Radiology and have been specifically trained to
perform and interpret x-rays. Cape Radiology Group provides more
than general diagnostic radiology; we also offer the highest
level of subspecialty expertise in neuroradiology, nuclear medicine,
musculoskeletal, body imaging and interventional radiology. In
addition, we use two radiology physician assistants who specialize
in the performance of fluoroscopy procedures.
Cape Radiology Group uses the most up-to-date digital fluoroscopic
imaging equipment. Digital technology gives us the capability of
enhancing our images by adjusting brightness and contrast or applying
digital filters. This improves the overall quality of the study and
reduces radiation.
Is there any special preparation required for my x-ray or fluoroscopy procedure?
Please contact your referring physician or Cape Radiology Group regarding your exam and the necessary preparation. Please indicate if you have any allergies, are diabetic, are taking any medication or think you may be pregnant, since these conditions may require special preparation.
When will I receive my exam results?
Your examination will be interpreted by a radiologist
and the report will be sent to your referring physician. You should
make arrangements with your physician on how you will receive your
results (such as a follow-up appointment or calling the physician's
office).
